Battle of the Books

Welcome to AMS Battle of the Books Information Page

Our Battle of the Books club meets every other Tuesday from 2:30-3:45 in the library from September through mid-March or early April, depending on when our competitions are scheduled. We read from a collection of 20 titles and play games and practice to compete against 20 other schools in the Piedmont Region. We will have one competition in late January and another in March or April. If you are interested in trying our club, please have a parent fill out the BOB Permission Slip and return the second page to school. Students are welcome to join any time from August through November.

Please find further information on the AMS Library Page under Organizations in Schoology or contact Mrs. Spota (librarian and BOB coach) at 540-422-7421 or lspota@fcps1.org.
